Welcome to the Journal for Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora (CAAD). We are the first scholarly and industry journal to formally UNDRESS: remove the layers of overcycled stereotypes of African Diasporan and Black Art, to expose its truth and identity.
This knowledge community is brought together around a common shared interest in the role of the arts in our interconnected global society. The community interacts through by exploring and reviewing each-others research, practice, and theory in the virtual domain. Members of this knowledge community include artists, academics, educators, administrators, advocates and policy makers, curators, researchers and research students.
